Scrambling to Keep Up!
Since I've returned from California, I've been scrambling to keep up with...everything! I can really relate to the 3 Doors Down song, Running Out of Days, from their Away From the Sun album. Especially these lines: "All these little things in life and they all create this haze. Too many things to get done and I'm running out of days." Yep, I hear you!
Last week I did get my email newsletter out on Wednesday the 13th. ICE STUDY Part 7 was included :) If you're a subscriber and didn't get the issue - check your spam folder. And if it's not there, then you need to add this email addy to your approved list: Maria_V._Snyder_Author@mail.vresp.com
I've also been scrambling to reply to my emails. So if you've sent me an email, I'm about a month behind, but I will answer. I don't like to be so far behind, but I feel better about it after I saw Kelley Armstrong's post on Facebook that she had 666 unanswered emails in her inbox!
I also picked - or rather Random.org picked a winner for a signed copy of PERSONAL DEMONS. Congrats to Crystal!!! (Crystal you need to send me your mailing addy - please send it to my email maria@mariavsnyder.com)
A few more housekeeping things :) I did an interview over at YA Book Nerd that was fun. And tomorrow she's going to have a contest to win a signed copy of SPY GLASS. Here's the link: http://yabooknerd.blogspot.com/2010/10/chatting-with-maria-v-snyder.html
And a friend of mine has posted a review of SPY GLASS that has generated an interesting discussion. I sent her a few comments about it and I think she's going to post those as well. Here's the link: http://calico-reaction.livejournal.com/190126.html
Stay tuned - I'm planning to do a post about my LA/San Diego trip and one about POISON STUDY's fifth birthday that will have give aways!
And here's a question - what do you think of this color? I thought the white is too hard to read, but it could be my aging eyes!

Lots of giveaways? WOO! I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteI like the purple better too. It is easier to read.
I am loving Ice study!! I wish it was a book so I didn't have to wait, and I could just devour it.
Yay! Poison Study is 5 years old! Wow! Time flies! I remember reading that in the car when I was on a roadtrip to my aunt's and I was in my senior year of high school. Oh my. And now I'm done with college! Time really flies by!!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the color of the text. The white one can hurt my eyes after reading for so long, then again maybe it's because I'm on the computer too much! ;)
The color is easier on the eyes. :D
ReplyDeleteYou are doing so much! Kudos to you for keeping up with it all. :)
Love the purple! It's very readable. There are a couple of blogs that I no longer read because I'm dazzled after scrolling down. :P
ReplyDeleteI love the darker color. The white is a harsh on my eyes. :D
ReplyDeleteI love the purple! Much easier on the eyes than the white!
ReplyDeleteNo comment RE the color. I think the Blue of "Post a Comment" is the easiest on MY old eyes! But boy-oh-boy, I agree that October is a busy time. It seems to have flown...and I'm hardly writing at all. Hope all's well with you!
ReplyDeleteI just don't like the pink. XD I've never been a fan of pink, but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteNo worries on scrambling to keep up! We understand, and we'll be here for you when you get there! :P Have fun with your life, and enjoy!
Sounds like you've got lots going on! October is insane.
ReplyDeleteThe white is kinda bright/ harsh...
My goodness, I almost can't believe it's been 5 years since Poison Study was published! And yet I never get tired of reading it. I love the Glass trilogy, but the Study trilogy will always have a special place on my bookshelves, especially Poison Study.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing about your California trip! :D
Wait... Ice Study? What is that?! Part 7?! Can I get the other parts?! How do I sign up????
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments about the color. I do like the darker color - maybe I'll just change for each post :)
