On Tour :-)

I made it to Australia and have been having a great time meeting all my Australian readers.  I posted some pictures on my facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/maria.v.snyder).  My events have 'been packed with enthusastic fans, and I'm currently in Melbourne.  I've the next couple days off, then i'm off to Sydney for a number of events.

Here are a few things I've learned about Australia:
- They drive on the wrong side of the road, but somehow manage not to have massive accident
- Kangaroos are not everywhere
- Tim Tamsg are addicting and snickers pods are amazing
-they have some very creative names like the Hog's Breath restaurant - they have wonderful hog tails (i.e. curly fries). Pie Face (I think this is a bake shop), and the Twisted Sista cafe.
- they don't drink Foster's lauger beer. they have beers like the Fat Yak and Tooheys. I'm a

big fan of fan of parial to Toohey's extra dry

    Oh I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself here! Snickers Pods are absolutely amazing, though I prefer the Mars one myself ;)

    Have you tried Lamingtons? Squares of sponge cake dipped in chocolate and rolled in coconut...amazingly good!

    phillip island has koalas (as well as peguins, seals, a huge maze and a chocolate factory)
    are you sure you don't have time to come down???

    stereotypes about us are mostly wrong
    we don't have too many accidents coz we drive on the correct side of the road :)

    yeah, amaze and things are a huge illusion attraction and their chocolate is amazing!!!!! you have to have panny's chocolate milkshare of hot chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great post! I?m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case.

House Cleaning

I'm cleaning out my inbox.  It's amazing just how many emails can lurk below what I can see on my computer screen.  I think they hide there, hoping I'd forget about them ;>  I've long since given up my goal of being "caught up" with all my email replies.  Now, if I'm only a week or two behind, I'm feeling pretty good. What exactly are we celebrating?  Three things.  One - I've over 500 Followers!  Considering my off again on again relationship with this blog, that's pretty impressive.  Two - I just received my copies of TOUCH OF POWER.  (author perk!)
